Visible Asbestos Testing
Asbestos
testing is not included in the scope of a Home Inspection.
This is an additional test we can provide.
Visible suspected asbestos is collected
with a kit available to professional inspectors. A specific set of collection procedures
are followed along with the associated safety protocol. Samples are sealed in a plastic
bag, a chain of custody form is completed and mailed to the lab ASAP. The Lab will
fax results to the inspector within 72 after the lab receives the sample. The lab
does not operate on Sat. or Sun.
Cost:
Visible suspected Asbestos
$75 per sample. Additional tests at the time of inspection, $50 each
